Perkins is new, and the first hundred writers matter more than the next ten thousand. We are giving free lifetime licenses to a small cohort of working writers: novelists, essayists, short-story writers, screenwriters. People in the middle of real work.
The deal, plainly
You get Perkins, free, forever, with a Founding Writer license. We ask for nothing in return except honesty: use it on your actual project, and tell us where it fails you. There is no obligation to praise it, post about it, or review it. If it earns a mention in your newsletter or your writing group someday, that will be because it deserved one.
Who we're looking for
Writers with a project underway. Published or not. Every genre and form. We read every application and choose for seriousness of work, not size of following.
